To see yours instead of the Apple TV ones, go to Settings and choose Screen Saver. Click on Type and change the screensaver away from the standard Aerial set. Stay on top of all Apple news right. Select an Apple TV aerial screensaver. See the Apple TV aerial screensaver locations. You don’t have to wait for your screensaver to come on in order to see it. Just move to the top left of the Home screen on Apple TV and press the Menu button on your remote. When you see the aerial screensaver, just lightly tap the touchpad on your Siri. The new Apple TV has plenty of great features - including a new set of gorgeous screensavers that's created through a series of aerial video shots from across the globe. These videos kick in on. Open Settings on Apple TV. Go to General Screen Saver, then select My Photos. Do either of the following: Choose to show all photos from recent activity or favorites: Select either Activity or Favorites. Choose to show only a shared or personal album: Select an album in the shared or albums category.
Start an Aerial screen saver
Your Apple TV displays a screen saver after it's idle for a certain number of minutes. You can start the screen saver at any time. Just go to the top-left corner of the Home screen on your Apple TV and press the Menu button on your Apple TV Remote.
To change the number of minutes before a screen saver starts, go to Settings > General > Screen Saver and select Start After.
Aerial screen savers aren't available on Apple TV (2nd and 3rd generation).

Ever wonder what location you’re watching in an Aerial screen saver? While the location is playing, just tap the Touch surface on your Apple TV Remote.
Switch to a different location
You can't choose a specific Aerial to play on your Apple TV, but you can choose a theme. Just go to Settings > General > Screen Saver > Themes. Swipe and select a theme to Show or Hide it when your Aerials play.
To switch between Aerial locations, swipe right or left on the Touch surface of your Apple TV Remote while the Aerial is playing.

- If you're listening to music on your Apple TV while an Aerial is playing, tap the right or left side of the Touch surface to play the next or previous song.
- You can choose how often new Aerials are downloaded. Go to Settings > General > Screen Saver and select Download New Video to change your settings.
The number of Aerials that you can download depends on how much storage is available on your Apple TV. To manage storage on your Apple TV, go to Settings > General > Manage Storage.
Earlier this week, Apple released eleven new underwater screensavers for the Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K. If you are using the Aerial screensaver, the Apple TV will automatically download them and appear in the rotation alongside the existing videos.
The new videos were added sometime this week, around Monday or Tuesday. The new screensavers are available in 1080p and 4K variants, which means they will show up on any tvOS-compatible Apple TV.

The new batch includes overhead pans of coral reefs, closeups of underwater species like stingrays and humpback whale and a pod of dolphins. For people who were freaked out by the Palau jellyfish videos, you will be glad to know Apple has added two more of the same vein, this time featuring Alaskan jellies.
The additions bring the total of Apple TV video screensavers to more than 80 scenes. Here’s the list of what’s new in this week’s update:
